Technology In The Classroom
In 2011, just 23% of teens had smartphones. Now, almost half (47%) have them. In this ever evolving world, how we live and learn is changing drastically. 95% of teens use the internet, and 97% have access to a computer or have access to one at home. Some schools are even giving their students computers or e-readers that they can take home for homework and use for classwork. With these changes come positive effects and some negative effects. This technology can be a distraction, and students may be able to access bad websites. This site will give you all the pros and cons that come with using technology in the classroom.
We created this site to inform the public about technology in the classroom and how it's affecting students. Our main goal for this website is to hopefully win this competition. Take our survey below to see how much you use technology!
